Let’s celebrate Winter Solstice and Year drawing to a close, let’s take some time out together for rest, relaxation, reflection and ease
By candlelight we will move, reflect and REST deeply! Relaxing, Restoring and Renewing!
The winter solstice marks the shortest day and longest night of the year, and the official start of winter. The darkest night invites us to fully turn our awareness inwards and shed light on the places we have perhaps forgotten or neglected.
It is a wonderful time to reflect back on the year; acknowledging how far we have come, how we have grown and evolved and what still needs nurturing and tending to.
It is a wonderful opportunity to slow down and rest before the busyness of Christmas!
I will be combining the powerful practices of Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga to help you arrive, settle into your bodies and leave the outside world at the door.
Then with the soothing vibrations from the Crystal Soundbath, we’ll drop even deeper into a blissful, relaxed state allowing your mind, body and nervous system to truly slow down. This is your time.
Through the meditation practice and time in stillness, we will find a grounded connection to ourselves as we reflect on the year just one and our hopes for 2024. We’ll finish our time together with an End of Year Ceremony; an intentional, mindful way to honour and mark what has been, what you are letting go of and what you will be bringing with you into the New Year.
As the longest night arrives, come and find some stillness, peace and rest before the busyness of Christmas begins. We’ll celebrate the return of the light and the closing of another year together with these beautiful practices.
