Turning Inward & Letting Go Retreat at Paus. Cambridgeshire
Saturday, 24th October 2026 at 10am to 6pm / PAUS. Toft Road, Cambridge, CB23 2TT
A dedicated day to release stagnant energy, shed old habits, and dissolve the emotional tension holding you back.
If you’re feeling mentally fatigued, emotionally heavy, or physically stuck, consider this your invitation to step out of the daily grind and into a space of pure release.
Life has a way of quietly accumulating. Without even realising it, we carry around the weight of heavy weeks, old habits that no longer serve us, and physical tension that settles deep into our shoulders and hips. We become so used to rushing, doing, and managing everything that we forget how it feels to simply let go.
Turning Inward & Letting Go is a deeply restorative one-day retreat hosted at the beautiful PAUS in Cambridge. This day is entirely dedicated to helping you clear out the mental and physical clutter, realign your energy, and create a fresh, open space within yourself to simply breathe.
Together, we’ll move, breathe, soak, and take inspiration from the Autumnal Cambridgeshire countryside surrounding us.

The Power of Heat & Cold Immersion
The dedicated Outdoor Spa Time is an essential part of the day, offering ancient and proven benefits to maximise your physical and mental reset. By moving between the wood-fired hot tubs, the sauna, and the cold plunges, you engage in a powerful cycle known to:
-
Boost Circulation and Detoxification: The intense heat from the sauna causes vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), increasing blood flow and promoting detoxification through sweating. This is excellent for relieving muscle tension and flushing out metabolic waste.
-
Enhance Recovery and Reduce Inflammation: Following the heat with a cold plunge triggers vasoconstriction, then a rapid return to vasodilation. This process, often referred to as “vascular flushing,” can significantly reduce inflammation and soothe sore muscles, complementing your yoga practice.
-
Strengthen Resilience and Mood: Exposure to controlled cold water stimulates the vagus nerve and triggers a release of endorphins and norepinephrine, leading to elevated mood, increased alertness, and improved stress resilience.
-
Deepen Relaxation: The wood-fired hot tubs offer a deeply therapeutic warmth, melting away tension and preparing the mind and body for the deep rest and stillness offered in the latter half of the day.
