Sold Out – New Date Coming Soon!
As the earth softens into spring and everything begins to stir and bloom again, I’d love you to join me for a full day of renewal, movement, hot tubs and cold plunge at the beautiful Paus Retreat Centre in the Cambridgeshire countryside.
Spring Awakening is a chance to shake off the heaviness of winter, reconnect with yourself, and gently step into the new season feeling clearer, lighter, and more alive.
We’ll move, breathe, rest, reflect, laugh, soak, and simply be—all within the most peaceful rural setting.
Together, we’ll enjoy a nourishing mix of yoga, nature, delicious food, and time in the gorgeous outdoor wood-fired hot tubs, saunas, and cold plunges surrounded by rolling fields.
The day will end with restorative yoga and a deeply soothing crystal sound bath… the perfect way to seal in your spring intentions.

The Power of Heat & Cold Immersion
The dedicated Outdoor Spa Time is an essential part of the day, offering ancient and proven benefits to maximise your physical and mental reset. By moving between the wood-fired hot tubs, the sauna, and the cold plunges, you engage in a powerful cycle known to:
-
Boost Circulation and Detoxification: The intense heat from the sauna causes vasodilation (widening of blood vessels), increasing blood flow and promoting detoxification through sweating. This is excellent for relieving muscle tension and flushing out metabolic waste.
-
Enhance Recovery and Reduce Inflammation: Following the heat with a cold plunge triggers vasoconstriction, then a rapid return to vasodilation. This process, often referred to as “vascular flushing,” can significantly reduce inflammation and soothe sore muscles, complementing your yoga practice.
-
Strengthen Resilience and Mood: Exposure to controlled cold water stimulates the vagus nerve and triggers a release of endorphins and norepinephrine, leading to elevated mood, increased alertness, and improved stress resilience.
-
Deepen Relaxation: The wood-fired hot tubs offer a deeply therapeutic warmth, melting away tension and preparing the mind and body for the deep rest and stillness offered in the latter half of the day.
